31 DAYS OF HALLOWEEN MUSIC. DAY TWENTY-FOUR: FOLK HORROR

Mark GatissHistory of Horror programs are a must-watch for a lot of reasons, one of which being that, during the second installment, he touches upon “Folk Horror”: a series of made during the late-sixties and early-seventies. Examples of Folk Horror would include Witchfinder General, Mark of the Devil, The Wicker Man, and the excellent Blood on Satan’s Claw.

The musical equivalent of these films would be Unto Ashes. You could argue with me about that staement, but you’d be wrong.
